bureau69 architects is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio based in Catania (Sicily) with projects delivered and exhibited across Italy, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Brazil. We offer a full architectural design and project management service for new buildings, renovation projects, and urban regeneration. We promote a contemporary and unique design, a sustainable approach, and we support low-energy buildings and natural materials.

The architecture office in Sicily is managed by Max Strano, a registered architect in Italy and the United Kingdom (RIBA). He works with a forward-thinking and design-focused approach, driven by a strong orientation for a responsible architecture and crafted interior design. Max is also a PassivHaus (Passive House) designer and collaborates with Zephir PassivHaus Italia.

bureau69 architects is the trade name of the practice and conceived as a “virtual table” where professionals based in different countries bring diverse expertise, complementary knowledge, and skills. The concept, based on outsourcing allows us to work on projects from small to large scale.
